Jord is a young Belgian architect and designer.

He questions everyday objects and seeks to create new objects with a different understanding. With his distinctive design language, the design will never scream for attention but rather blends into its surroundings. And it is precisely this simplicity and honesty that he is aiming for.

After an inspiring eight-month period during my masters in Hong Kong, I graduated as an architect at Hasselt University. But still there was that urge to continue within the design world. That's why I took part in the furniture design course. And from there I ventured into the world of designers. With the Dutch and Milan 2022 design weeks and Object Rotterdam 2023, I was already able to gain a lot of great experiences in two years.

But that urge, it's still there...
